Tablamigo
Tablamigo is a solo-travel app for meeting people nearby, made by the Hookstep team and launched on 29 September 2026. Solo travelers and digital nomads post plans such as dinner, drinks, a day trip or a coworking session on a map. Others nearby join with one tap and talk in that plan's group chat.
How it works
- Open the map and see plans from travelers near you, with who is going and how far away it is.
- Tap Join to enter the plan's group chat, or post your own with "I want to…" and a place or time.
- Agree details in the chat, including a poll for the time, then meet.
- Add your next city to see who will be there on the same dates.
Safety features, as built
These are the tools described on Tablamigo's own safety page. Our guide to meeting strangers while traveling covers the habits that matter beyond any app.
- 18+ only, with age checked at sign-up.
- No exact locations: other people see only a distance rounded to 0.5 km, unless you choose to share live location in a chat for 15 minutes, 1 hour or 8 hours.
- Women-only plans that only women can see and join. Gender is what each person picks on their profile and is not verified, so reporting misuse matters.
- Report and block in one tap. A human reviews reports and accounts that break the rules are banned.
- Optional selfie verification, compared against your profile photo on Tablamigo's own servers.
- Plan and city chat messages are checked by AI moderation before they post. Direct messages are not.
Where it runs and what it costs
Tablamigo runs on Android through Google Play and in any web browser, including Safari on iPhone. It is free to join, and an optional paid plan called Plus is available. The product site shows the current price.
The product site also has city guides for solo travelers and pages comparing ways to find travel companions.
Questions
Is Tablamigo a dating app?
No. It is built around plans such as meals, day trips and coworking, with group chats for each plan, so meeting happens in a group in a public place.
Can other people see exactly where I am?
No. Others see a distance rounded to 0.5 km. Exact live location is shared only if you choose to in a chat, and it stops when the time you set ends.
Is there an iPhone app?
At the time of writing it runs on iPhone as a web app in Safari that you can add to the home screen, and as an Android app on Google Play.
