Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Security Patching Specialist to handle VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing) remediation and security patching across a cloud-native environment. This role is critical for maintaining infrastructure integrity and ensuring all systems are patched against the latest vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Security Patching & VAPT Remediation
Execute security patching across Linux-based operating systems.
Remediate vulnerabilities identified during VAPT cycles.
Automate patching workflows to ensure consistent security posture.
2. Infrastructure & Automation
Manage cloud infrastructure using Azure and Terraform.
Utilize Docker for containerized environment security and maintenance.
Develop automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting.
3. Development Collaboration
Work within Java/Spring Boot environments to apply security fixes.
Collaborate with engineering teams via GitHub to manage code-based security updates.
Required Skills
Cloud & IaC: Strong proficiency in Azure and Terraform.
Operating Systems: Expert-level knowledge of Linux-based OS and Shell scripting.
Programming: Solid experience in Python (FastAPI is a plus) and Java (Spring Boot experience preferred).
Containers: Hands-on experience with Docker.
Tools: Familiarity with Packer and version control via GitHub.
