Position Overview
We are seeking an Avaloq Business Analyst to act as the strategic bridge between business operations and technical execution. You will play a critical role in high-impact banking transformation projects, translating complex banking requirements into functional technical specifications within the Avaloq Core Banking System. This role requires a professional who deeply understands the intersection of financial products and advanced core banking technology.
Detailed Responsibilities
Requirement Engineering: Lead the gathering and analysis of complex business requirements from various stakeholders across the banking domain.
Documentation Mastery: Author high-quality Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD) that serve as the blueprint for technical development.
Technical Liaison: Collaborate closely with Avaloq Developers to ensure customizations and configurations align perfectly with business objectives.
Functional Advisory: Provide expert guidance on Avaloq system capabilities to help stakeholders make informed decisions on process improvements.
UAT Coordination: Lead the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase, including test case design, defect management, and final sign-off coordination.
Stakeholder Management: Manage expectations and maintain transparent communication between business units and the technical implementation team.
Project Lifecycle Support: Support the project from inception through to deployment and post-live stabilization, ensuring all functional goals are met.
Required Skills
Platform Knowledge: Proven experience working with the Avaloq Core Banking platform.
Domain Expertise: Solid understanding of banking operations and financial products (e.g., Wealth Management, Payments, or Securities).
Analytical Skills: Expert-level proficiency in creating BRD/FRD and functional documentation.
QA Leadership: Strong experience in coordinating UAT and managing the testing lifecycle.
Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
Preferred (Bonus) Skills
Prior experience in large-scale Avaloq implementation or transformation projects.
Understanding of system integration and data mapping between core banking and external systems.
Strong presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for business users.
