Position Overview
We are looking for Avaloq Developers to join a large-scale core banking transformation project. You will work on the Avaloq Core Banking System (ABS), driving innovations, integrations, and high-level customizations. This is an opportunity to be part of a massive implementation team focused on one of the most powerful banking platforms globally.
Detailed Responsibilities
System Customization: Design and develop bespoke solutions within the Avaloq Banking Suite (ABS) to meet specific client requirements.
Avaloq Scripting: Lead hands-on development using Avaloq Script for business logic implementation and system enhancements.
Parameterization: Manage complex system parameterization and configuration to align the core banking platform with functional specifications.
Database Engineering: Utilize PL/SQL and Oracle for data management, performance tuning, and backend logic.
Integration: Facilitate seamless data flow and connectivity between Avaloq and various upstream/downstream financial systems.
Lifecycle Support: Partner with business analysts for requirement gathering and provide technical support during UAT, deployment, and post-production stabilization.
Domain Alignment: Work across various banking modules, including Payments, Securities, CRM, and Portfolio Management.
Required Skills
Platform Expertise: Strong, verifiable experience in Avaloq Core Banking (ABS) development.
Technical Proficiency: Mastery of Avaloq Script, PL/SQL, and Oracle databases.
Configuration: Proven experience in deep customization and system parameterization.
System Integration: Practical knowledge of integrating core banking platforms with external systems.
Banking Knowledge: Solid understanding of financial modules like Securities, Payments, and Portfolio management.
Preferred (Bonus) Skills
Experience with Avaloq APIs and XML data structures.
Familiarity with global payment standards such as SWIFT or ISO 20022.
Avaloq Certified Professional status.
