About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Azure Automation Engineer with over 8 years of experience to lead the design and implementation of automated cloud infrastructure. You will be the backbone of our cloud operations, ensuring that provisioning, configuration, and remediation are seamless, scalable, and intelligent. This role requires a heavy emphasis on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and the integration of AI-driven automation to optimize workflows.
What You’ll Do
Infrastructure as Code: Design and manage enterprise-level IaC using Terraform for consistent resource provisioning.
Automated Workflows: Develop runbooks, scheduled tasks, and event-driven processes using PowerShell, Python, and Azure CLI.
CI/CD Integration: Seamlessly integrate automation solutions into Azure DevOps pipelines and Git workflows.
Intelligent Automation: Leverage Generative AI and machine-assisted decision support to analyze and optimize complex cloud workflows.
Operational Excellence: Implement robust logging, alerting, and automated remediation processes to ensure 24/7 reliability.
What We’re Looking For
The Azure Suite: Deep expertise in Azure Automation, Functions, Logic Apps, ARM, and Log Analytics.
Scripting Mastery: Advanced proficiency in PowerShell and Python for API integrations and automation modules.
Tooling: Proven track record with Terraform (authoring and troubleshooting) and version control (Git).
Communication: Ability to collaborate effectively across time zones while working independently in a remote, EST-aligned schedule.
Required Certifications
Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or Solutions Architect
