About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate QA Automation Lead to join our remote Engineering team. In this pivotal full-time role, you will be instrumental in defining and implementing our automation strategy, elevating product quality, and mentoring a talented group of QA engineers to deliver exceptional software products.
Responsibilities
- Define, develop, and implement comprehensive QA automation strategies and frameworks across our product suite.
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and robust automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.
- Mentor and guide a team of QA engineers, fostering their growth in automation best practices, technical skills, and career development.
- Collaborate closely with development, product, and operations teams to integrate automation seamlessly into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Oversee the execution of automated tests, analyze results, and generate detailed reports on product quality, test coverage, and defect trends.
- Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and overall product reliability.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years in a dedicated automation leadership role.
- Strong proficiency in designing and implementing automation frameworks from scratch using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
- Expert-level coding skills in at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C#).
- Proven experience leading and mentoring QA teams in an Agile development environment.
- Deep understanding of testing methodologies, test case design, and the full defect lifecycle management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to thrive in a fully remote, collaborative team environment, demonstrating strong communication and self-management skills.

- Experience with performance, security, or accessibility testing tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Contributions to open-source testing tools or frameworks.
