Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Oracle Visual Builder (VBCS) Consultant to join our team as a permanent, remote member. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade web and mobile applications. You will bridge the gap between technical delivery and business value, ensuring solutions align with core processes like item costing and supply chain workflows.

Key Responsibilities
Application Development: Design and deploy custom web/mobile apps using VBCS. Build responsive UIs that orchestrate RESTful APIs from Oracle SaaS, PaaS, and third-party endpoints.
Business Process Integration: Partner with the Business Director to translate workflows (item costing, procurement, finance) into technical requirements.
Architecture & Integration: Implement secure integrations between VBCS and Oracle ERP/SCM/HCM clouds using OCI and OIC.
Governance & Mentorship: Lead code reviews, maintain technical documentation, and mentor junior developers while adhering to strict security protocols.
Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a technical advisor to leadership, providing insights on feasibility and technical trade-offs.
Required Qualifications
Technical Mastery: 5+ years of experience with Oracle VBCS or Oracle JET.
Front-End Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end practices.
API Expertise: Strong experience with JSON, OAuth, and consuming complex REST services.
Business Acumen: Solid understanding of item cost structures (standard/actual costing) and supply chain operations within Oracle ERP.
Cloud Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is required.
Communication: Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical business stakeholders.
