Job Description
We're hiring a Lead Python Developer to architect and lead the development of our core backend platform. You'll mentor engineers and own critical system design decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of Python-based backend services using FastAPI
- Define API contracts and data validation patterns with Pydantic
- Mentor a team of 3-5 developers and conduct code reviews
- Optimize database queries and service performance at scale
- Own CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
Requirements
- 6-12 years of Python development experience
- Strong expertise in FastAPI and Pydantic
- Experience leading engineering teams
- Solid understanding of REST API design and database optimization
- Familiarity with Docker and cloud-native deployment
